Unfortunately, not every skill set is paid in sats at the moment. That may change with time.
The wonderful thing about right now is that you can earn a living with your skill set and convert it to the hardest money there's ever been.

Absolutely. Maybe someday. But for now I’ll buy with the profits from my fiat paying customers.
I’m just trying to picture a scenario where I would tell an employer that I need to be paid strictly in bitcoin or that customers/service providers need to be paid in bitcoin. I would get eaten up by competition in fiat. One day we’ll get there. But we’re far from there now

You know what they say - if ya can’t earn it, convert it
Spending Bitcoin = sending someone value
Spending fiat = sending someone value
Earning Bitcoin = receiving value from someone
Earning fiat = receiving value from someone
It doesn't matter how you spend or receive value.
What matters is how you store your excess value.
