Saw Jack tweet about it before Christmas but didn’t think much of it. Then someone mentioned it a couple weeks ago in a Discord and I fell down the rabbit hole.

It all started with the stackchain. It was the holiday season of 2022, and Derek mentioned something about nostr. Down the purple rabbit hole I went, a larry was carried a few weeks later, and the rest is history.

Sometime early 2021, Fiatjaf, Rockstar dev and Ben arc started a new channel on Nostr, saw it linked from either LNURL mafia or lnbits. can't recall. too long. :D

Found out about it today from Mark Moss email.

Then I downloaded the Damus TestFlight when that was popping in my Twitter feed. Glad I did! #nostriches

Found Nostr due to checking the Android F-Droid updates regularly and suddenly Amethyst and Nostros appeared. 😎

I heard #[2] talking about nostr on Twitter, and went to nostr.rocks that day. Couldn’t figure anything out until I found Damus and finally spoke into the void.

Kept seeing a purple ostrich and fellow bitcoin only believers chatting about it. So dug a little deeper and I’m hooked 🧡

The donation @jack made and announced on bird app. Quickly found Damus after that looking into it
