I would like to learn how to properly process a chicken. I have 3 hens that will soon be ready for process. Anyone in the Houston area willing to teach? There is a farm that does process for you but you need a minimum of 20 birds.

I will do that too if anyone else want to go that route.

Just a resource. I own it, I’ve skimmed it. I’ve read it. I think it’s complete. But I have yet to apply it. No livestock on my property yet.

No problem. If you’re looking to grab a copy.. Abes has them for around $18. I gifted one not long ago to a farmer with lamb butchering issues.
