If it was money both Hillary and Kamala would be president. They both out spent Trump including super pacs.
It’s the message.
Politicians can be bought. So Soros or Gates or Zuckerberg can buy a politician but that politician has to have a message to win.
Agree they need a hook that enough people will bite to win. However people are well indoctrinated to bite certain types of hooks/lures. Trump first election was an anamoly I would agree. He did some pretty disgusting things with it including releasing COVID Tyranny. This time around he campaigned on old slogans of his, freeing Ross, 100% absolute support for Israel and then immediately cozied up to huge technocrats and billionaires. That doesn't look accidental to me. I think we are in for a very bumpy ride.
Strange times make for strange bedfellows!
There are other things than just money involved. Long agendas that run with different flavored rhetoric and circus regardless of who is elected. I have watched US politics for decades and see the same overal shit pulled and grow with different flavors wrapped around it over and over again. I believe the Democrats gave away 2024 election on purpose. They don't want to be holding the bag when SHTF. And they do want to pick up the pieces after. Again and again the cycle spins around pretty much the same axis.
I actually had that exact same thought strangely enough that was so bizarre and I felt like they wanted to run Newsom, but he wasn’t ready and prime.
