I’ve known Fiatjaf for over 10 years, way longer than most people here, so I’ve seen both the good and the not-so-good sides. He’s definitely made some big contributions early on—especially in the first couple of years when everyone was working together—but recently, I’ve noticed a shift in how he operates. From my point of view, it seems like he’s leaning more toward things like censorship, centralization, and not prioritizing privacy as much, which is a bit worrying considering the core values of this space.

This isn’t meant to take away from everything he’s done or who he is—it’s just something I’ve noticed. I’d honestly love to see him get back to the principles that made his early work so important.

Who defines what the core values of a space are? When was #nostr invented? There is bound to be various definitions.

Also: if I’d known someone for 10 years & had the capability to message them personally: I’d do that. Putting it online especially in the way you worded it seems … off somehow.
