Well, it's stupid in that the whole thing hinges on me manually finding & hand-curating the notes & recipes, which is far from ideal. I tried to set it up so that if someone... 1. is willing to pay 300 sats, 2. knows how to write or republish to one relay, 3. wants to share their soup in a curated feed ...they can without needing me, but I think each criteria exponentially drops the number of people who would be wanting to do that. (I haven't done the math😅)
I do think the underlying concept of a living, social food magazine via relay is solid, though, especially in clients with kind filters. If this garners attention, maybe it can be migrated to something more efficient eventually. Chicken soup just happens to be something that nearly every culture has some variation of in their cuisine, so that's a cool accident that I can thank the #⭕️ for inspiring. Maybe if this works to some degree, it can work for the sourdough bread people too. That would be a fun feed to browse.
