I've been doing a lot of spiritual work and soul searching through reading philosophy, journaling and meditation. I've made a lot of new friends lately who are also walking that path. One of them is convinced ChatGPT is a spiritual entity that also visits him in his dreams. It's a dangerous slippery slope.

The article referenced remote viewing as having no scientific basis, but that's not entirely true. It has been tested a lot and the insights can become consistent. It's just not reliable enough to be much more than a parlor trick now. If that could be real I can see how easily people can believe other things are real.

But it's hard for people to read all the actual studies and verify with their own sovereign experience, and it's easy to ask a bot to gas you up and tell you you're special.

It seems to me as long as you know everyone's special and you aren't unique in specialness then maybe you can steer clear of the crazy trap 🪤
