If you knew for sure that bitcoin was going to reach $1M, would you rather it happened today or five years from now?

5 years from now. Easy question for me.
What’s wrong with today?
Today. $1 million today will be worth a lot more than $1 million in 5 years.
Are you personally ready for that happening today?
I'd assume the foresight is more valuable the longer it works. One day is little time to act...
What would you do with the foresight?
Five years.
Five years, to stack more, of course. And even better if the curve between now and $1 M were exponential, rather than linear.
I'd prefer it today. I want to open a new chapter in my life but I also need to be able to spend my Bitcoin slowly so I can use it to buy me the time to open that chapter and start a new career and continue my saving journey.
$1m bitcoin will afford me that time without me starting from zero by the time I get there.

When Bitcoin achieves $1M, the era of fiat is de facto over. Fiat has caused so much pain and suffering. The transition is going to suck for a lot of people but I’m not confident that would be improved with a 5 year waiting period. Most won’t see it until it’s too late. So today. Please and thank you.

My question would be how much buying power that 1 million has. Now and then.
