Thinking about my unfinished interactive fiction story (think choose your adventure books, adult, noir, steampunkish, smut over qualit, but it could be chance to improve myself again..). Just noticed that #Amethyst has an option to create pools. Unfortunately it's zap supported and there is some drama around that, so it's not merged into "official" standards...

So it seems no CYOA by pools soon 😭

It's even better if it's Zap-supported. Put 1 Sat/vote, assuming there's this option, and you increase the chances of getting votes from real human beings. We should also stimulate the zapping in this corner of Nostr, not only for nudes. Value 4 value!

Would love to, but as far as I understand, it's a different kind of note that currently only shows in #Amethyst (I posted a note with voting just a few minutes before posting this one). It's currently opposed by people arguing that such a core feature (polls) shouldn't be that closely tied to zapping. The situation gets muddier with others claiming that another protocol proposal can solve normal non-zapping polls. Then another person chimed in with a proposal for general form filling, which is getting some traction as far as I can tell, but it doesn't include any option to price the options, so we'll have to wait on this one a little longer :/

Oh, now I see it in Amethyst. 😁

PS: I think it should be connected to zapping. Otherwise, you might get someone with a bunch of identities fucking the results. At least make it costly.

Agreed, but I understand what tehy want to make it optional dependency, not a required feature. That way they can make it either free/cost zap/require proof of work, at least in theory. Still, pooling situation right now is glum.
