Your honesty is refreshing. I only kept what I have in retirement account because I was stubborn and didn't like some of the people who were saying that Michael's stock was toast when the ETF came out.
Even tho I believed them 😁. It only paid to be stubborn once in life and the rest is just hard knocks.

Is it gambling or risk tolerance. Speaking of gambling I was just trying to tell someone who was playing slot machines on a cruise ship to buy MSTR options instead.
I thought gambling was about making money. And if someone is going to gamble, they might have better odds and bigger payouts with MSTR options.
But for him gambling on slot machines was about clearing his mind. Something about the rolling numbers and symbols of the slot machines clears away all the existential worries of aging parents, unloving spouse, feeling stuck in life.
He doesn't want to win enough to report on taxes or lose too much either to make it worth reporting on taxes.
