Truthfully, I never want to retire. Just spend less than I make, hold my value in sats, and produce a positive output to the world around me.
Bitcoin will (and has already begun to) free me to allocate my time to the projects I most want to spend it on. That is the true innovation.
A truly sound money allows a holder the ability to stop thinking about money, and start thinking about their time.
You never want to retire from "work," but do you also never want to retire from "wage labor?"
Blurring the lines between work and wage labor is an important part of the fiat system, imho.
For this reason, it's important for most young retired people not to call themselves retired, because they will be treated differently.

I strive to reach a place where I work on things I'm passionate about for no other reason but passion.
It could pay a wage, it could not. I could do it alone, or do it with others. Call it retirement, or call it work.
All I want is the freedom and optionality to focus on my passions full time.
