I really think everyone should be significantly more freaked out about AI.

I don’t even know what’s real anymore.
We’ve been conditioned for this for decades.
I find it surreal that more attention has not been given to the fact that every new technology has the propensity to enhance our ability to make war. The bow, the horse, the steam engine, gun powder, flight, and numerous other examples. Why do people think it will be any different with AI?
we're not ready for AI
Nah. 30,000 to 40,000 people die a year, US alone, from taking one Rx with another Rx. I’d love an AI opinion as an AI Pharmacist with a million datapoints than rely on a human being using a proprietary Walgreens or proprietary Health Services system that still relies on fax machines.
Another huge problem I see with AI (if it doesn’t immediately become our overlord) is the widening of the technological gap that already exists. We hear a lot about the number of early adopters to ChatGPT, but the number of people who haven’t even heard of it is astounding. It’s moving so fast and they are already so far behind.
Allen Iverson is way past his prime.
