Fake it till you make it

I remember being really encouraged in my history classes when first learning of systems that replaced inherited wealth and power. Meritocracy, democracy, etc. seem so obvious in retrospect, and there’s evidence of an arc toward better systems in modern history. Lived experience shows me that nepotism is alive, and well, however. In their world especially.

Nooooooooo 😂

Soon we will all be billionaires. 🧐🖨️💸

sounds great

When the tide goes out, we’ll see poor “billionaires”

Please explain

Yup, built their wealth on a rigged house of cards

You mean to tell me Ken Griffin isn't some Uber genius?!?!

What if the 21 sats your post got zapped with is more money than a billion in fiat?

It’s a reminder that money mostly scales comfort and experiences, not fulfillment or meaning. Many of us are already richer in time, relationships, and everyday joy.

A yacht or a rowboat still puts you on the water. A private jet or a commercial seat still gets you there. Real wealth, for most people, shows up in relationships, presence, and enjoying small things without needing more.

They literally get their wealth from making deals with politicians to subsidize their companies.

All that the expense of working people

They definitely don’t produce 285x more than the laborers. I thought #bitcoin people believed in #proofofwork?

Good to follow you again here Jimmy. This must be the 6th or 7th platform now 😅
