Whatever you think of Peter, Irwin Schiff (his dad) died in jail for tax resistance & for teaching people that taxarion was evil & that voluntary trade was the path to a better world.
And Peter has moved a lot of people toward libertarianism. They deserve more love & respect than they get.

Because in the bigger picture it doesn't really matter & it's so over the top it probably does more to move people toward it than away. Gives his followers an endless stream of Bitcoiners correcting him & exposing them to good info.

He’s certainly not his father’s son; if he were, after the way his father was treated, he would have renounced US citizenship in a real protest.
Instead, he’s a consummate conformist and insider, pretending, imagining and marketing himself a maverick and opposition to the status quo.
There’s no way to reach his level of wealth otherwise, even in the American context.
The destruction of his Puerto Rico bank showed that. He fooled even the #US and Puerto Rico #gangsterment into believing he was a real adversary defying their system.🤡

No, he’s been an insider all his life, long before the bank. That’s how he became so wealthy.
The bank incident showed him a fake opposition of such quality, that even the #gangsterment members in several territories believed his own resistance larping and delusions.

I respect the man a lot. He’s just wrong about Bitcoin, which is more of generational thing. He’s a great proponent of hard money and a great thinker. What’s more, he was right on the covid hysteria.
