So free speech, but only if they agree to your opinion?
Discussion
It would seem so.
Lame strawman attempt.
Non-citizens are not afforded the full rights that citizens have.
Read the paperwork that resident aliens mostly sign without reading.
Just because a person can fog a mirror doesn't mean they are magically endowed with the full status and rights that an actual United States Citizen enjoys because they happen to have two feet on US territory.
So what did they sign that said they donβt have free speech?
The First Amendment applies to everyone, including non-citizens. The Constitution makes no distinction and the Supreme Court has upheld this.
Lol, somebody missed their civics classes.
You make snide and unsubstantiated claims which are false.
I post actual excerpts of Federal law to back up my position.
(C) Foreign policy
(i) In general
An alien whose entry or proposed activities in the United States the Secretary of State has reasonable ground to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States is inadmissible.
That applies during an immigration process, not after the person has a green card.
But also there is a higher law, the constitution. Federal law that is in conflict with the constitution is invalid. The constitution gives "due process" and "equal protection" to everybody, not just citizens. People can certainly be legally deported, it doesn't stop that. But they can only be legally deported with "due process". And in this case, there was no due process. The Trump administration just ignored the stay issued by the court. That single act turned America from a country under the rule of law into a fascist state. You are living in fascism now.
Some people hate foreigners so much they are willing to destroy the entire foundation their country is built upon just to prove it.
The rule of law went out the window about 20 million illegal border crossers ago.
Going to take some strong medicine to fix this problem.
I give zero fucks about making sure every last invented "right" of foreigners is respected.
The need to GTFO NOW.
Donβt worry, theyβll be doing it to natural-born citizens soon enough, too.
So a country built on immigrants is no longer a thing. Whether you are here permanently or temporarily, if you are here legally you have all the same rights. Deporting legal residents is against the law and against what makes America great.
Next they will say this is what they voted for.
