apps generally I use logseq for notes and idea organization. Raicale server for calender/tasks/contacts.

I do have a notebook though for when I'm working away from a computer and need to jot things down quickly.

would logseq sync between an iphone and pc?

Not by default. I use syncthing for that but I already run that at home...I think Obsidian has that kind of stuff built into it. If I wasn't already using Logseq, I probably would look into Obsidian.

Hmm, never heard of that before

Need to look it up 🤔

Obsidian is a whole rabbit whole. If you want something FOSS that’s more similar to traditional note apps (e.g. Evernote), then I highly recommend Joplin

sounds interesting

i'll check it out 💜

Whiteboard + Google calendar tasks

Oh, a physical whiteboard with a marker?

Sounds neat tbh

Yeah I have one next to my adjustable standing desk

damn

your setup sounds hella based

I pull a highschooler move.

Write it on your arm....

org-mode on desktop, orgzly on the phone. Syncthing to keep everything up to date.

Gettings Things Done methodology can fit both.

Paper and whiteboard for me.

Digital allows information to accumulate without spatial and cognitive costs.

Pen and paper, I ask my wife.

this is so true

"what was it that i wanted to do...?

ah yes, thanks honey"

Whiteboard on my wall and todoist app and paper+pen too!

I don't have a perfect system

ClickUp, Obsidian, Google Notes, Pen and paper

Somehow things get done, but I know I can do it with less mental bouncing
