🧰 Too much bitcoin tech knowledge is trapped in videos and podcasts

If only there was an easy way to unearth those insights and gems… 🤔

We wondered that too, so we redesigned Bitcoin Transcripts! 🚀

🔍 Bitcoin Transcripts is a filterable library of transcripts from:

• dev meetups

• conferences

• podcasts

• panels

Skim talks, quote insights, and search by keyword.

All in one place.

⛏️ Missed a workshop or podcast episode?

No worries.

You can now quickly search by keyword or topic and read the conversation in minutes instead of watching hours of video,

Accelerating your speed to insights.

🧑‍🏫 Bitcoin Transcripts is perfect for:

- bitcoin devs digging into prior research

- educators creating content

- researchers analyzing protocol history or

- enthusiasts who prefer reading over listening

Taproot workshops, Lightning panels, it’s all in there.

Open-source and built by the community 🧡

This project stands on the shoulders of contributors like Bryan Bishop (https://heybryan.org/) who manually transcribed hundreds of talks.

Now, with modern tools, we can scale that effort for the whole community.

Many thanks to our contributors:

We’ll keep adding transcripts from upcoming events and backfill any important historic talks we missed. 🔍

Post traumatic lols

Great question

Out of all the tools out there, this one

- aligns with my desire for self-owned and reusable data

- is lightning fast compared to alternatives (logseq was unusable for me)

- lets me find project, person, and idea-related notes I made with relative ease

I work on probably a dozen projects at once, so I'd lose my mind keeping it all in my head

It's by no means perfect. It's just pretty damn good.

There's something super special about it

Ниче не понимаю и так давай и оставим сюжет

А это все знали когда то? Или сначало надо было выучить и потом забыть?

Very interesting

I work with the Canadian province Alberta - and open source is strongly enouraged - tho we're not as far it as requiring it the way Switzerland did

I don't have a perfect system

ClickUp, Obsidian, Google Notes, Pen and paper

Somehow things get done, but I know I can do it with less mental bouncing
