Is there engagement farming if theres no algorithm to game? A note with tons of responses doesn’t get pushed anywhere its not going to be anyways

There's always some form of "algorithm", an influencoor can gain followers when that note is shared, for example.
The Trending column on Primal is an algorithm, and many people use Primal.
Right now there are almost no algorithms. So there’s not really anything to game. Eventually there will be so many different algorithms that it’ll be impossible to game all, or even most of them at once. In the end the effect is the same lack of reward.
It’s working as designed.
