This morning I spend my time trying to count the total number of bitcoin transactions I did in 2022. I come to a rough estimation of ~300 on-chain transactions. And ~4700 Lightning transactions. Of the lightning transactions I have hundreds of failures, mostly related to LNURL and some to routing problems. I have extensively used Blue Wallet, Muun Wallet, Btcpayserver. For cold storage I mostly used foundation devices passport, blockstream jade and seedsigner. I tested a lot with Breez, Fountain, Phoenix. Bitcoin integrated use in 3rd party apps such as Damus (using bitcoin apps), Twitter tipping. i had one transaction on umbrel funding my own node
100% failure. never got my money back
lightning will never succeed.
So everything directly works 100% with you with every new innovation? Amazing. There are clear reasons why there were failures. We just have to mitigate these, next to that I’m a poor node runner which explains a lot 😂

umbrel had farthcoin as support who is an uneducated low life, insulting everyone and blaming every customer calling them stupid and everything their own fault. farthcoin is still active with his insults on stackernews.
this year jim took over. he is a nice guy but he could not help to retrieve my sats. they even tell you that it can be lost even though you have all evidence, your sending wallet the tx id, only one transaction and you can see the bitcoin address where it is sitting but your seed from umbrel does not work. lightning is a mess and will never work for most people. i do not tolerate losing funds. it is a system which does not work.
But this issue is not a lightning problem. This is an umbrel problem. So I don’t get your point.
