I sold Bitcoin to buy grapes yesterday.
Instead of waiting an extra day for an easy 4% discount, I went ahead and cashed in the 87.5% discount that I earned from holding the last 32 months.

Well, thank you for the sats fren.
The Buy High Sell Low Boys are back in town
Should’ve taken my advice big home: “sell as late as possible”
Time in Bitcoin counts also for when you need to sell it, not just how long you want to hold it for appreciation
It’s fine Ben. Peer to peer medium of exchange.
I was thinking about the absurdity of selling BTC to buy something so small as a bag of grapes at the supermarket but then the context fairy arrived and made me realize that it's probably been thousands of pounds of grapes to make wine on an industrial scale 😄
Yes big tons of grapes
Well, Bitcoin was below 20k usd 32 months ago. Since then it has made some 500-600%. I guess you can congratulate yourself.
Sick math
Bro at least buy mangos 🥭
It's like you're a winemaker or something
Welcome to the club! Life happens for those who live it! Some sats for the basement boys! No regrets!😁💪
It's money: save, spend, repeat.
😉
Exactly! That’s the perspective most people miss about holding Bitcoin.
Have you ever considerer to borrow against your stack?
Have considered don't have a big stack and have other loans to pay off that I used to speculatively attack and build a stack over the last 5 years.
While fiat debt is obvious in the long term, I'm looking to reduce downside exposure rn
Exactly how it works. I paid a few bills yesterday too
You exchanged one currency for another to transact because your grape 🍇 supplier doesn’t accept sats for
payment yet?
Using Bitcoin to help create wonderful things in this world is a respectable way to use your Bitcoin. More power to you brother.
