I will spend as much time as needed explaining Bitcoin to people who want to learn, but words cannot express how much I’m not going to waste a second of my time on anyone who wants to ARGUE with me over even the most basic principles of Bitcoin’s design that are easily understood with just a couple of web searches. Gtfoh 😂

Lol 😂

My thoughts exactly.

The best one I got was, "Not everyone can just buy Bitcoin!" From someone I knew could just shut up and buy Bitcoin within 15 minutes.

Lol zero effort 🤣

I’m also done arguing with anyone about Bitcoin. We’re headed towards max pain for people who refuse to own any and there’s no avoiding that

💯 If someone wants to be taught, I’ll teach them. If they simply want to argue, I’m out in a heartbeat and they can hfsp.

A distinct difference between asking questions out of curiosity and arguing.

💯

This is the way

I'm with you. I argued for 30 mins with a lawyer client of mine who does estate planning. He didn't understand why anyone may need or want Bitcoin, nor the value of incorporating Bitcoin into his business and estate plans, trusts, wills, etc ..

Exhausting.

I prefer to flip the script on them

I just ask these sorts of people what sort of savings technology they prefer

Usually they prefer stocks, bonds, or real estate, and then I try to make them convince me I should sell my Bitcoin for those things

I let them be the frustrated one

Love it.

BUT BITCOIN IS FOR CRIMINALLLLLLZZZZZ

So is water.

🤣 Also “iT’s aLrEaDy cEnTrALiZeD”

Gah

My theory is that people find Bitcoin when they have a problem to solve and are out of options, not because of persuasion. Kinda like the A-Team.

For me it was a combination of that and curiosity.

Also George Peppard, he just seems like such a standup guy, you know?

Haha I was a big Hannibal fan

Same, I’d been curious about Bitcoin before but 3rd time lucky. I agree both are important and to contradict myself maybe trying to educate people on Bitcoin has an impact when they remember that conversion years later, but often not immediately.

Yea, they need to show interest first.

"Trust the experts. Unless they disagree with your world view."

Yeah I'm done explaining. Just telling them to buy $50 monthly and see me when they get to $2000 to move it to wallet. Also telling them that the only thing that's gonna happen is that their grandkids will call them stupid for not buying more. A couple of them have come back asking questions and buying $1000s worth. At this point, if you resist being at zero I can't save you.

“Cool story, you HFSP now” 🤙🏽
