I was a bit excited to discover nostrmedia.com until I looked over their ToS and it said that you would need to agree to a $1mil AUD fine if you violate Australian laws.

1. How are they going to enforce this?

2. How TF does anyone know how the Australian gubment will use their continually worsening laws to go after content that they don't like, especially if they pass the "you got a loicense for that internet?" laws? I don't like legal moving targets placed on my back.

*sighs*

This is just getting stupid. IMO.

The latest version of 0xChat has hidden the feed. I really have no idea who is in charge of their UI/UX, but it is serious dumb. I'll still be using it to upload personal pics for now, but geez. This is not good #nostrability.

Youd think that nostr devs knew what they signed up for.

Not having to sign and all.

I just opened 0xchat to see if I agree that it's new UI sucks, but it's so slow that I can't use it. I guess layout isn't the only issue.

It takes a while to load all the events. It tries to pull everything all at once, I think.

Then it should either give an indication that it's busy, or not display a UI until I can use it.

I agree.

The problem of "displaying an unusable/busy UI before it can be used" has existed since Windows 95. You think that logic would have died by now.
