I'm not sure on hosted alby hub.
I run NWC on my start9 node, and it can be set to any relay. You just need to match the pairing client with the same relay. I believe. I didn't do it, lol.
I run mine on my Start9 as well. I believe there IS a way to set what relay you want to use, but it's not a setting you can just find in the UI. Has to be changed in the config file, if I remember correctly.
On a side note, I guess we found the point of failure for Alby Hub. 😂

I ran https://github.com/benthecarman/nostr-wallet-connect-lnd for over a year. I only recently switched to Alby Hub because I wanted to test it out and I wanted to see the different configuration options for multiple apps. nostr:nprofile1qqswrlemlh2wgqc4jkds3d8ueqj9a2j3gcm7r48v9tskdd6rxsd7rtcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqprpmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctvqy28wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hsm2p3r5's app doesn't have the ability for this, but you can configure limits and they work fine. I'm probably going back to this to be honest. Alby needs a way to allow people to choose their own relay so we're not reliant on them.

It would be nice to be able to generate different connection strings and remove them if need be, so that we could essentially have different connections for different apps and manage them. I did this before by running different daemons but that's a bit much.
Yeah never did that because it'd probably require a database and rpc server to be added but I'll see what I can do
