This has happened to me several times recently. Makes me feel awkward for even daring to reach out to someone.
I know I am not the only one this happens to when trying to engage in meaningful conversations with new people on Nostr.

Makes sense. Hopefully that is the case.
Interestingly enough though. I think that the relays I currently use are either glitching up, or actively are censoring you.
I hardly ever see your replies unless I am using Nostrudel for notifications with a completely different set of relays.
Also who would want to, or is actively censoring me at the relay level? How do you even confirm such a thing?

My best guess for why you'd be censored is us interacting a lot recently. Whenever anyone is nice to me, I assume they'll be targeted. Seriously. But that's just my paranoia, who knows really?

I tell the truth too much. This is why I'm the most banned redditor of all time, banned from dogecoin chat rooms, banned from GrapheneOS and CalyxOS chat rooms, shadowbanned on X heavily enough to only have 64 followers after 11 years and thousands of posts, etc.
There doesn't seem to be anyone else in the anglosphere who's as honest and perceptive as me so I'm targeted heavily

it is a bit awkward at times, but i've noticed that the ones that do reply back make those forgettable. ^^
It happens, could be a relay thing or maybe they don’t want to be bothered. A lot of people just like to throw shit out there and not have a meaningful conversation about anything. There are some real ones out there tho and those are the ones I like to come across. Stay real!
Is there space for one more in this club? Not everybody engages, but those who do make it worth it (like the ppl who replied here, let’s make our own club!!
Sorry for not responding to this earlier. I have been extensively looking for a meme mentioning the club idea for these kind of people for a couple days. A club for those who just want to be sincere and have great conversations.
