Nostr Web Client

Two things I’m now convinced will happen regarding #nostr, it’s just a matter of when

1) an explosion of new users, as centralized social media clients (like X) continue to censor, make poor business and customer decisions, and eventually implode. And as nostr clients improve, get easier, better UX, and appealing to mainstream (like nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg with killer UX and wallet in-app).

2) as users grow, so too will government attacks against nostr-enable clients and businesses. We saw a smidge of this with Apple and nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 but that was child’s play imo. Legal funds will be needed, similar to bitcoin dev legal funds.

This could be next year. It could be 5 years, 10 years, 20 years down the line. It will be interesting, and it’s very cool to be living through these times.

Most people I invite don't understand why they need to join "yet another network". I have had friends join, and I'm waiting to see their posts so I can zap and show them the power of the nostr. I'll just keep waiting.

I think one of the limitations I have is that 99% of my human interaction is online. I very rarely go out with friends, not since 2020. I'll go over to a friends house for dinner, but no large groups. I just don't trust humans. One of the few times I rode the bus I was sick for a week after. So all I can do is put out my ideas and how someone listens.
