Seems like #nostr is mostly USA focused. I’m wondering how we can attract other countries to join. There is translations implemented but what is missing point here 🤔

Yeah Japan has a bunch of users as well. They use Nostr very different from everyone else though. I had to unfollow all of them because the air replies were too much for me.
How are they using it?
All their notes are top level notes. They don’t reply or use mentions, so your feed gets blasted with tons of notes if you follow them. They use Nostr more like a chat room.

I was seeing all of their notes until snort stopped loading my follows feed. Need to tinker with relays probably.

If you want more Indians, translations will not help at all. Initially you'll get the Indian tech crowd, if enough devs, techies talk about it. Then you'll get normies, if nostr can offer an Insta private account, or FB friends like experience

Idk if it’s possible but what I think is you go into settings click “Facebook theme” option and you have the same experience as there. Click bitcoin theme and it opens up zaps. Something like this
