Try bravenewpipe. It's a port.
If you are using a VPN, jump it around. This kickstarts it again for me. I thing Google is starting to filter IP addresses that are steaming YouTube without signing in.

I see. It's funny that all these projects seem to be first and foremost for mobile (Android). I know that most people seem to mainly use YT on their cellphone, but I'm just the opposite and use it 95% of the time on desktop only.
Are you talking about age restrictions? Just change your IP. Age restrictions are not enabled in all countries.
No, videos won't load at all on newpipe, newpipe nightly and other forks

Also, I use piped.Kavin.rocks on PC but that's broken too
