Many bitcoiners on social media (mainly X) and in interviews are literally changing the way they talk about bitcoin to make it appear even more favorable to the Trump admin.

Using MAGA language, talking digital gold/store of value only, putting down democrats/liberals/woke, hoping Trump sees. They think they need to do this for bitcoin to succeed.

It’s sad.

Yeah, it’s disappointing to see Bitcoin reduced to a political pawn when it’s meant to be a neutral, apolitical tool for freedom. Tying it to any administration, left or right, is short-sighted. Bitcoin succeeds because it operates beyond governments, not because it cozies up to them.

Admins tie themselves to bitcoin; it doesn't work the other way around 😏

Its just a fad. Bitcoin will outlive all these fools 😉

Cringe as fuck

When I hear BTC magazine podcast guests supporting tarrifs without pushback, I know they've lost the plot....

Much of the energy in bitcoin activism these days is young, white males who are politically naive. Everyone wants to feel like they're on the "winning team" and ever since Trump visited Pubkey, this class of bitcoiners feels like they're part of the New Gentry...

Most of them will (hopefully) grow out of it once the inherent logical contradiction between bitcoin as a decentralized global currency and bitcoin as a means of propping up "American Greatness" becomes increasingly apparent.

bitcoin doesn’t stop dickheads from being dickheads on both sides lol

The Suitcoiners have entered the chat, and they in fact, run the chat.

I observed the same. Many get distracted by the beasts fiat price tag. It’s sad.
