99% of the world doesn’t have the time. They can barely keep their heads above water & you’re asking them to comment on the beauty of the pier.

I’m lucky. I’ve done well. I’ve spent countless hours to learn. And still know 1/4 of what I want.
Regular folk just work, hit the grocery store on the way home, manage the kids shit, and kind of get offended if you try to talk about this shit. Rightfully so. They shouldn’t have to get a PhD just to live & take care of their families.
Easier to control, when they don't have time to think. It's why revolutions always happen when a majority of the population is unemployed. They have time to get angry.

Unemployment benefits are not around because our government cares. It's to domesticate the masses, surpress revolt, and avoid having to put boots on the ground. Just enough scraps to keep them happy.

The last thing our government (Canada) wants to do is have to resort to using the military or police forces to suppress dissatisfaction with their policies. It puts their means of control on full display. They would much rather have the fight take place in the “digital” realm. It’s to their advantage. I have no idea if it will come to a point of physical revolution but I don’t think it’s a zero possibility.
