Use either Mullvad or ProtonVPN. Depending on your threat model. Mullvad can be paid anonymously using Bitcoin and Monero, through Tor, without sharing any personal data.

Do you have a preference, one over the other?

I noticed proton has a free option...always makes me question the motives.
