I’m a 44 year old woman, and sometimes men strike up conversations with me in public. I’m generally okay with it since I’m naturally outgoing.
In the last month, three grown men have told me their main hobby is scrolling TikTok. When I asked what they do for fun, that was their answer. Nothing more. I thought the first person was joking but they are serious. Then they are confused when I don’t want to hang out.
That’s aweful! Find some activities dudes. Too much life to live

I was at a river with my scuba mask and water socks last week. A girl had dropped her metal water bottle in and I fished it out for her. They asked if I made TikTok content. I told them no I just like to swim around in the river for fun and see what it looks like under the surface. They immediately lost interest 😂 but more expected for a couple of 18 year old girls.

How about those in their 20's (such as myself) who happened to be gamers, but also do content creation (vibe emanation as Neigsendoig likes to call it on here)? Surely, there's something that could potentially be more respectable than that.
I like gaming. What I meant is that it is a common complaint that women had about men wasting their time on hobbies like that. Now the new complaint is scrolling TikTok haha so being a gamer or sports fan is more respectable now
