i bridge it from here but i have an account there to promote nostr on the hashtag and find new users. they still have censorship so some like to come over. thats where i come in
A lot more ppl use it than use Nostr, but it’s still niche. It has a lot of traction in the open source dev community - “FOSStadon”.
It is a fundamentally flawed system… I am confident that as Nostr continues to improve and expand, they will move here.
You'd be surprised! When I last looked, the Fediverse (including Mastodon) had about 12 mil users. Over 13,000 Nostriches follow people on the Fediverse across the Mostr Bridge. The Fediverse has been around for over a decade and has seen many waves refugees from mainstream social media over the years.
I feel like the Nostr values are not accurate anymore.

Yes a really great metal band actually.
I've used it and use it from time to time. It's ok. I prefer Nostr. The Nostr bridge allows me to follow people here and see their posts, so it's kinda nice.
As long as the mastodon community hasnt blocked the bridge they're suppose to see your replies. Afaik.
They do it often. Unfortunately :-(
I do follow quite a few people from there via the mostr.pub relay. It is convenient, you get their content in nostr friendly format. Interaction is challenging, but lurking is easy.
Theyre from my city (ATL) and they're absolutely incredible.
