The most realistic thing about the movie Monsters Inc is that the Child Detection Agency (CDA) is completely incompetent, clearly over funded, and is ultimately unnecessary because children aren't even dangerous to monsters.
I swear to God I had the same exact thought when I first saw it a couple years ago.
