Wow, suddenly everyone’s freaking out about Muun. I remember how fiercely people would defend that app when I was promising it would rug months ago.

Out of the loop, what’s going on? 🤔

Submarine swaps are expensive in a high fee environment. #fakelightning
What happened?
Nobody can move their money because it relies on on-chain fees being permanently low in order to function.

Never put more in these things than you can afford to lose. Pay attention in proportion to their immaturity.
Always worked fine for me but the more you know.
What are they doing? I am so out of touch.
It’s completely broken because of on-chain fees. https://blog.muun.com/a-closer-look-at-submarine-swaps-in-the-lightning-network/
Ok I don't know of this is a kind of bank run but my funds are out and it just took a couple transactions.
I completely misunderstood that app until now. I realize now that their fees are based on memepool predicted fees. I zapped 1000 sats and got hit near 8000 in fees (and it won’t ask if it’s ok). Later I tried to move 10,000 sats to try a Phoenix wallet and the fee was so big (131,000 sats) that it wouldn’t do it bc i lacked funds.
My husband thinks the animated pfp is very cool. Thank you so much. It led him to ask your opinion on running a node, more specifically, any advice on learning how? We are in fact farmers, but we are reasonably intelligent, just not coders/computer engineers.
I would love to invite you into the #[3] group. If you have Telegram, you can join here and learn from everyone. https://t.me/+T7roQzkKBu4wZjAx
Thank you! I will pass the info on, and research Telegram…BBL

👋 Welcome to the #Nodestrich community.
Thanks for having us!
I’m curious about the quality of your honey ? Would like more info if you don’t mind.
Thank you for asking. It is raw (unpasteurized) Wildflower (reflective of the seasonal nectar flows, such as (at this moment) blackgum (black tupelo), wax privet, blackberry, palmette, assorted wildflowers, etc. We also have a lighter colored honey from one primary nectar source called Gallberry (aka inkberry), cousin of yaupon holly. It is slower to granulate.
