It was a beautiful city. I was there in 2003. I don’t think there was a single building that didn’t have at least one bullet hole. I remember many looking like blocks of Swiss cheese.

Many still looked that way in 2012 even with all the Saudi/Emerati money that came flowing in. I would so love to go back and see how it looks now. I loved living there.
