100% agree. As much as he seem to be different than others billionaires in that he's "somewhat against establishment", it became increasingly clear "mister free speech" is a fad and that it's a lot more about flattering his ego. Not even gonna speak how he's been moronically dismissing bitcoin implementation and now crying because of Nostr. 🤦♂️
I'd still give some "credit" because I assume we do not know everything behind his decisions but hey, wtf ...

100%. He had his chance to do right. The twitter files was a classic example. He could have released it to all instead of selected journalists. Felt all very controlled.
It's just too much. Satire is dead. It all so incredibly embarrassing.
I happen to like Elon, and think that his exposure of the Twitter Files was vital in revealing the deep-state penetration of social media. But that's beside the point: the fact is that he *can* manipulate Twitter, and whether or not I agree with his political biases, I know that there may come a time when we diverge or he gives control to someone else.
