Lot of people I know look to betting markets rather than polls to handicap the election. But if Trump were assassinated, obviously that's a loss of your bet. Same as if he lost due to cheating.

So given there have been two attempts, and cheating is considered likely by many Trump supporters and presumably bettors, what would the non-cheating, non-assassination odds be?

And given that everyone knows the corporate media is in the tank, and even Google is altering search results, what would be the real, honest, fair democratic odds?

I think the answer to that is why there have been two assassination attempts so far and all the absurd lawfare that preceded them.

It's not that people love Trump (some do, but a minority). It's that we are all so sick of these sociopathic factions (pharmaceutical conglomerates, big banks, war machine, corporate media, oligarch-funded NGOs and unelected bureaucrats) forcing reviled candidates and deeply unpopular policies on us.

Very few support lockdowns, forced injections, child sex changes, censorship, wars, willful neglect of the border and inflation caused by the money printing used to pay for all of the above.

If we had any kind of democratic election where the people were given unfettered access to information, without the heavy thumbing of the scale, there is no question in my mind we'd be looking at a historic landslide.

You think Trump is where he is because he fought all his life against “these sociopathic factions (pharmaceutical conglomerates, big banks, war machine, corporate media, oligarch-funded NGOs and unelected bureaucrats)”?

Come on man…

It’s not about Trump, it’s about anyone not under the total control of those factions.

But with Trump we would be under the same control of the same factions, so what’s your point?

Maybe, but if that were the case, why are they trying so hard to stop him?

That's THE question.

Isn't he more hard line against Palestine than Kamala?

Or is it rhetoric?

Not so hard apparently… But everything looks very well staged for sure

You’re so right

Anyway Trump isn’t against these sociopathic factions (pharmaceutical conglomerates, big banks, war machine, corporate media, oligarch-funded NGOs and unelected bureaucrats), so what’s the point?

Yes he is. He’s partnered with RFKjr, didn’t you know?

Oh alright 🙄😂

You can compare the odds for trump to win vs the odds for republican to win.

Betfair seems to imply that yes there is a non-trivial chance that a republican other than trump wins. Some other stuff to entangle I guess but on the face of it this is consistent with successful assassination risk...

yeah the question would be if his replacement would get the same support (maybe more if he were killed), but yeah, that’s something. Can’t account for expected cheating and all the other fuckery though.
