THE nostr retention rate is less than 1%

Hard to say if this is terrible or close to normal - my gut says not good

We probably have a bunch of low hanging fruit opportunities in improving this.

Patience! All nostr has to do is exist, it's blindingly obvious that it's the future of everything 😃

I already find enough content that I am here because I want to - and it's not bitcoin content.

There is a cost to this entire ecosystem - funding, server costs, opportunity costs, all sorts of costs. If it were possible to "just exist" that would be great, but we live in a world with actual costs, so I'm not gonna sit on my butt and wait ;(

Really? I have found very few non bitcoin people on Nostr. And just ONE from my twitter feed of 800 (half of which are well known people). Nostr is failing to retain anyone but bitcoiners. That is just the facts. Its depressing.
