(1) Wear a shirt

(2) Polaris has a noticeable wobble, as measured and observed over centuries now, but it is so slight you wouldn’t detect it with a single 4hr timelapse as you show here

(3) Why do flat-earthers care so much? It’s not as though this changes anyone’s life in any meaningful way. Also, good luck navigating the seven seas with your flat-earth sextant, since apparently geo-stationary satellites (which you used as PROOF! of flat earth using Google Maps and your location) can’t orbit a flat earth, and therefore can’t exist… except when using them to prove your beliefs about a flat earth. 🙄

Seriously though, what do these conspiracy bros have against shirts?

One reason they might care so much: A flat earth makes God very obvious and Genesis very real. Maybe too real for comfort. Space could be one of the most clever deceptions that discounts God, making it more likely to not believe. It’s a battle for your soul for eternity.

A round earth doesn't disprove God in any way

I’d say it discounts God.

Not at all, nowhere in the Bible does it actually say the earth is flat, that's just based on freestyle interpretations

God separating the waters and creating a space in between is a pretty simple visual. It doesn’t mention space as we know it, but just talks about stars/heavens. But yes we can interpret how we want.

Well if Christianism depends on the earth being flat then I have bad news, some 95% of our current knowledge of physics would have to be wrong for flat earth to have even a slight chance of being real, and that includes gravity astronomy, gravity, relativity and a while lot more. Flat earth has pretty much nothing on its favor.

I understand where you are coming from believe me. All the fields of study you mentioned have different thinkers on the subjects. Measuring gravity is a tricky one.

Fair enough, but how do you explain the fact that our current knowledge of physics works perfectly? The phone you are typing from is undeniable proof of that, also how does GPS work on a flat earth? How do inertial navigation systems work without gravity? How does starling work?

I am just a pleb with questions too.

One of my fav videos explaining the cavendish experiment and the mystery of the supposed torsion rod. You can tell the guy isn’t trolling, he’s just asking questions. Towards the middle/end is the meat of the video. TLDR he thinks cavendish reverse engineered big G since nobody has a working torsion rod to do the experiment.

Starlink/satellites are said to be hanging from high altitude helium balloons. This makes sense when you look up how much helium space agencies use.

But you can literally see satellites and the ISS with a telescope, also I saw myself starlink satellites aligning with their lights on, quite an interesting sight

And all the science you mentioned depends on the logical leap of everything coming from nothing, which is a far more ridiculous thought experiment than God, flat earth, or other alternative views.

That passage doesn’t even talk about the creation of the universe and Earth the way you imagine. It’s a monarchical text describing the formation of the kingdom’s region for that people. You keep looking for scientific explanations in an archaic text because otherwise you’d have to face the reality that you embraced a god among thousands — all of whom were created by men.

There is no God. The one you believe in didn’t create the world and was a liar and a hypocrite. Don’t feel bad — he wasn’t the only one, but among them all, he was the weakest. No wonder the people who invented him got beaten by everyone else, and to save face, they claimed he controlled the other nations. Typical of useless people.

Nobody said anything about orbiting anything.

Look up "satelloons"

Looked it up. OK, interesting, but offers no evidence to accept that the earth is not a sphere since the obvious alternative hypothesis is that there are actual satellites orbiting a spherical planet called “Earth”.

I dont claim to have all the answers. But I do know we never went to the moon, NASA is a joke, and most things we were taught in government schools are inversions of the truth.

We have no complete images of earth from space (yes look that up too and realize all of them are composites done by artists).

Everything I observe from airplanes is a flat stationary plane (and pilots never adjust down for curvature). Water always finds its flat level and the horizon is always flat.

Radiowaves can be transmitted around the 'globe' bending around the circumference (they explain that away with the waves bouncing off the ionosphere lol)

I always thought flat earth was a pysop to make conspiracy theorists look like retards, but the claims being made by both sides are much more supported with real evidence by the flat side vs the globe side. Just look up some of the 'proofs' (many are on yt) that have been done by regular people seeing things miles away that shouldnt be visible with curvature of 8" per mile.

And here is some more food for thought, if you can have an open mind..

“But I do know we never went to the moon, NASA is a joke, and most things we were taught in government schools are inversions of the truth.” One of those things might be true, but again, none offers a verifiable way to test (or at least something not nearly impossible to disprove) that any one of them is true through observation.

I can’t even observe how “NASA is a joke”.

I’m just trying to keep you honest in your thinking. I’m not trying to turn you into an enemy. I just want good evidence to support the flat earth claims. Also, I’m not going to find much of the fast-cuts Youtube content even watcheable because I’m not a Millenial or younger who has ADHD.

Totally fair. Here is a slow paced video that lays things out pretty well. All in good faith, I'm curious about your thoughts if you take the time to watch..

Will share one about the "moonlanding" in a sec
