Never forget the face of Neda Agha-Soltan.

On June 20th 2009, She was shot in the chest by the Iranian police in for simply standing next to her car, observing the protest that was happening in front of her.

I remember vividly, being at my great aunt’s apartment, down the street from where she was shot and killed in Tehran.

I’ll never forget that day. I’ll never forget her face. She lives on in the fight against the regime.

it’s not the words, it’s the cruel government who use the religion to fuel their agenda.

Remember that Iran wasn’t ever a muslim country before the regime took over. They would’ve done anything or used anything to have complete control over the people

I am sure that if women were stronger and rougher then man, this religion would have scrambled to give the women more rights and repress man.

This indeed isnt a real belief, it is propaganda to make women "breed slaves" for the government, imagine a women choosing a non islam man over a islam man, that way the religion and maybe the government would fade within years..

In my honest view.

there’s a very very very large majority of iranians who aren’t muslim.

have you heard of zoroastrianism? we also have a lot of christian and catholic citizens.

Oh yeah? And they still follow the women hate and such? Pretty strong believers in good, those christians...

not true. there’s a small minority of iranians in iran who support the regime.

the citizens of iran do not agree with the government or their beliefs. let’s remember to separate the government’s beliefs and the citizens.

Ah okay. But what reason would there even be then, to mistreat women... I dont understand it...

But then I cannot see any possible reason to mistreat women so much...

because it’s the corrupt government and their police doing it. the government’s modesty police are the ones harming women.

the people are unable to overthrow government when they kill and arrest any protesters. they shut off the internet as well.

there’s no real voting. it’s all rigged. nobody will help the citizens other than USA government saying empty words of support, that do nothing.

Yes but why would they do that...

When there is a lot of political pressure from the outside, the government increases its control on the inside.

The more pressure on the outside, the less freedom on the inside.

The political pressure is caused by pressure within for change. Giving people freedom is natural, repressing it causes pressure because its unnatural.

Tell me why there is no pressure on Saudi Arabia 🤣

Ah, there it is

Senseless violence stands in stark opposition to our principles. In the face of such tragedy, we must reaffirm our commitment to reason, empathy, and virtue. Seek understanding, condemn harm, and work towards a world where reason prevails over violence, and compassion guides our actions.

We won't forget

We won't forgive

So sad 🙏

I'm too old for these clichés. I pity the girl for her senseless death and her being used as a tool for revolutionary propaganda, aimed at younger generations and teenagers.

I myself would like to see more rights for women in Muslim countries and regions, and I hope that the line between men and women in these countries will gradually be erased, at least in terms of education and wages.

She was so beautiful.

iran isnt theonly one. Afghanistan is also really bad
