Sure but the entire formalism rests upon an assumption that time is continuous. Continuous time is required for Schrödinger evolution, coherent phase accumulation, and superposition.

*IF* time is quantized and discrete, then QM/QC formalism is falsified as it stands and Shors algo has no valid foundation to stand upon as they assume AND require continuous time to be mathematically coherent.

The blocks of time Bitcoin computes are quantized and discrete, giving us an empirical object of time with which to test foundational assumptions. Bitcoin could not function under a continuous-time model: there are no intermediate states, no fractional blocks, no smooth interpolation. Finality, verification, and non-contradiction depend on time advancing in indivisible steps through irreversible work. Continuous time would collapse the system.

Because of Gödelian limitations, no system can fully validate its own foundational assumptions from within itself. Physics measures time using clocks that operate inside time, making the assumption of continuous time fundamentally unfalsifiable from within physics. Any attempt to probe the smallest unit of time already presupposes the behavior of time, creating an unavoidable circularity.

Bitcoin breaks this loop by constructing time as an object ( a block) rather than assuming it as a background parameter. Bitcoin time is discrete, indivisible, and only advances through work that irreversibly resolves entropy into memory. Because we do not exist inside Bitcoin’s time, we can observe its temporal architecture objectively. Bitcoin does not prove how universal time behaves, but it falsifies the claim that continuous time is necessary. That is something physics alone cannot do.

Seeing as Bitcoin constructs time from proof of work (energy), entropy and standardized protocol for measure, I’d say the proof is solid, just not equally understood.
