When you do your basic Wim Hof breathing exercise, and feel comfortable with your practice already, it's well worth checking out what happens to your state of mind and body when you go into your 5th, 6th + ... round.

You may find that your deep breathing becomes more natural, more easy. Wave after wave you just pump the oxygen in without effort.

The retention time flies, thoughts become less, body sensations, pleasant or unpleasant, can be observed more calmly. And during the recovery breath hold the world around you is toned down, the focus now is naturally on your inner center.

Especially after a deeper breathing session, I carry a heightened awareness of subtle body sensations with me throughout the day. I'm calm, I'm observant, it's priceless.

Give it a go. What do you experience?

I've never gone past 4. Need to try this 👌🏻

Yes, do👌🏻

My first face with wimhof breathing was going into extremes, maybe 10+ rounds. I am of course not recommending such start, but one I could say, the experience was unforgettable

Oh wow, more than 10 rounds right from the get go, crazy! For the first time, many people feel that tingling and inwardness already in round 2, can't fully accept and let go just yet, and then stop when it becomes too intense. And you rode it all immediately 😄 Chapeau bas, I imagine it was unforgettable!

As an instructor, what how would you approach this if a person, who is doing that first time, ask for many rounds, like 10 or so?

I wouldn't do it with the person in my Fundamentals workshop, 3-4 rounds is usually enough for beginners. But obviously, everybody can try at home to do as many rounds as they feel comfortable with. I like to encourage to experiment, but listen to the body carefully. If they wanna do more together, they can come to my advanced in-depth classes 😉

Couldn't agree more 💪
