I’m curious, Venezuela being a socialist country, how is he allowed to create his own ice cream/kiosk business? How does it work? Does he need to pay most profit to the government? Does the gov actually own the business??

He sells these ice cream at dollars or colombia currency, and makes like a 30-40% from the final price I think...

He got really popular in the city because he created a regional brand of ice cream and made a good use of social media...

He owns his own business and taxes in Venezuela aren't so high as in USA...

Taxes in Venezuela are only 16% BUT for business...

Most venezuelan, like 95 % of people (who doesn't have a business) doesn't pay taxes! Only business owners pays it

Yeah people can own business in Venezuela BUT the real problem is how expensive is to get the paper done... It cost about 2k - 5k to register a business and as you could imagine not everyone have that...

5k here have the buying power like 25-50k in USA

People are aware of it but not everyone uses it
