Good question. No I don't think it means you need to wear her clothes. I think what's important is the emphasis on the fiat mentality that allows others to believe they have any control on your style. Granted, wives do tend to believe these things regardless of fiat brain.
Let's brainstorm. What's style is she after? I think she needs to use examples from popular movies and explain precisely why she's wants to dress you up like a qt3.14 Ken doll.
