Luke b and the orange pill app guys going on and on about their services, trying to justify why people should pay... when Nostr is here, free as can be! Who needs to shell out sats when you can get all your crypto know-how for free?

And those conferences charging big bucks? Online streaming has got your back with all the juicy content minus the hefty price tag. Why pay a fortune when you can enjoy it from your couch in your pajamas?!

The only thing I care about it meeting new people, possibly friendships, and going new places or just generally having something to go do. That was the only interest I had in OPA or conferences really. I don't see it as a competition, if they do (and I'm taking your word for it) I just don't see how it's functionally hurting business if thats what's being insinuating.

If your "business model" is affected by something that is effectively completely free and gives the same value, you probably need to pivot. No time should be wasted on discussing why a "less good" (from perspective) product shouldn't be getting more attention than your "better product", focus on making yours more attractive. Doesn't mean you need to change the product necessarily, maybe just marketing.
