Tacos, crock pot chicken thighs

Nice list - would also recommend giving pizza bagels and chopped chicken caesar wraps a shot for lunch. Regular crowd pleasers for my daughters

Cesar wraps are a good call

Eh, I think I'll just come over to your house....

Lately all I've done is microwave angle hair pasta and put cheese on it... or microwave potatoes, and put cheese on them.... I miss meat but I don't know how to cook it. 😅 Meat is the best.

My husband did make me bacon this morning though, so that was great!

italian bias — homemade sauce, pasta, meatballs

I was nodding along, and then came polenta bacon kale bowls out of left field

That’s a good one, particularly with an egg on top and kale cooked in the bacon fat.

Coarse pesto with pretty much anything: cheese, nut, oil, green herb (e.g., goats cheese, walnuts, basil, olive oil). Quick blend. Takes minutes. I like it with wholemeal pasta and wilted spinach added at end.

Meatloaf. Also an amazing performer.

I have a maple bacon one I do every so often when I have the time and ingredients.

Black bean bowl with salsa, with or without shredded meats.

Bacon and eggs w/ goat cheese every morning

Pancakes/waffles on Saturday

Burgers, steak, sweet potatoes, stews, whole chicken in crock pot, beef orzo pasta, tacos

Will be interesting once the kids start talking what they say lol 😂

Goat cheese is a good addition I should try

You’ll never go back. Costco has the big logs and we go through one a week. Keep it in glass tuppyware

-Pasta Aglio e Olio with fried smoked sausage slices -Enchiladas made with sauteed pablano, onion, and seasoned bork(beef/pork blend) and black beans

-Greek salad (cukes, red onion, kalmata olives, green bell pepper, Roma tomatoes, feta, olive oil, red wine vinegar and oregano)

Chuck roast in the crock pot with a jar of tomato sauce and some chicken broth and a bunch of garlic and onions. Any random herbs or spices you have

A big batch of lasagne goes a long way. Also a stack of ground beef patties, can be had on their own, as burgers or with eggs. Curries and slow cooked stews 👌

I second the curries and stews. Great way to fill everyone up!

How is 'Cream cheese bagels and lox' not in your breakfast category?

Kids choice, what can I say 🤷

Breakfast: Stuffed Toast (buttered bread on both sides, use a cup to cut a hole out the middle, pop it in a pan and crack an egg into the hole.)

Lunch: Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Dinner:

-Bolognasse and salad

-Bone in chicken thighs and roasted Brussel sprouts.

-Homemade ramen.

Ok this is a bookmark worthy thread!

Very delicious plan 😋

Now this could be the food for the masses nice #grownostr
