Why don’t you like frying them? Lard, tallow or butter not in your diet? No cast iron where you are at? Bacon grease is just the best in my opinion, but to each their own… genuinely curious. 🧐

All fair points. For me it’s purely cleaning convenience. Easier to toss the foil than wipe out a pan.
As a trucker I can totally relate! I use more ziplock bags now than I ever did. Even with my wife rinsing and reusing the gallon bags of cheese sticks she cuts for me… the meat bags, sausages, bacon, pulled pork, sausage balls, burgers… those all only get used once though.
I’ve tried to strike a balance between pure convenience and reuse multiple times. Easy to clean out vs wastes too much of my wife’s precious time!
