It minimizes programmer error which is the most expensive part of programming.

Good answers, actually, very unexpected.

wtf... omg

80% of Security flaws come from wrong use of memory, so Mozilla create a way of reducing memory errors to 0%, which is rust.

Now you have time to focus on the 20% left

Functional and memory safety is my guess. I have never triedRustm, only Haskell.

Never tried Rust*

Memory safety & high-level features in a low-level language. Learning curve is steep, but once you get over it you become very productive.

Ecosystem is still rough around the edges in some places, and async design choices are questioned by many, but ultimately I think the language is in a class of its own for now.

Because you hate your life

Because humans needed a final cope before they submit to AI facilitated HDL on FPGA's, obviously

Please no. Use JavaScript with JSDoc types instead.

I think, Rust is the best choice for medium-low level programming with zero cost abstraction. If you are looking for low level, IMHO, Zig is better. For high-level, I use JavaScript only.

Lawl programmer nerd.

rust is a really brutal survivalist game. og time sink. libertarian types should try it out on default servers. it’s rough.. ARK is another unforgiving no lifer
