I like the idea of bitcoin merch I just also think it is really bad Opsec to be wearing Bitcoin logos in public.
Does coin vigilante make the watch or do they hire the expertise to do it? Also I don't think coin vigilante accept bitcoin paiements at all.
I'm not sure if they do one their website but I purchased mine IRL using bitcoin. If anyone is interested and wants to pay in bitcoin I can reach out.

I think there's a difference between a watch as Bitcoin merch and a Bitcoin watch.
The Trump watch is without a doubt Bitcoin merch.
If Trump is selling it, it's probably fiat garbage.
I would argue a bitcoin watch is probably made by an expert and doesn't necessarily have anything bitcoin related on it Maybe a couple subtle nods here and there.
Point being it would be a quality product. Not something someone commissioned to have other people do it for them So they can sell it at a markup. If that makes any sense.
It makes a lot of sense and I agree. It's about the expertise and means of production beign at the service of Bitcoin economy.
Imagine someone hiring ford to make a slightly different car with a Bitcoin logo embossed and some other things like that. It would be some kind of bitcoin merch sure but a bitcoin car?
Hiring is just Proof-Of-Stake.
