Hello and welcome, for me it's a place to view and share uncensored content. I don't agree with everything said here but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be said. Everyone should have a right to their own opinions.

No I mean there is no one here to censor what you or anyone else says, no algorithm that will "shadow ban you", no one that can deactivated your account. You can unfollow people so you personally don't see their posts but anything anyone posts stays. (I am by no means an expert on this but this is my understanding of how it works). For example during covid if you spike out against vaccines on twitter or facebook you could be banned or have your account deactivated none of that here. I am sure not every single thing said on nostr is true but you get to decide what to believe not someone or something behind the scenes.
